Randy Salvatore, the founder and president of the RMS Companies jump started his career with his passion for real estate at the early age of 12-years-old when he pioneered his own landscaping business and invested the profits into procuring his first condominium. Soon after, as a commercial sales and leasing broker for William Pitt Real Estate, he obtained the knowledge of the business starting from the ground up. He achieved his real estate license in January of 1993, cold calling on potential commercial customers and shadowing the more experienced brokers. After gaining hands-on experience on the sales side of the business, he set his sights on the construction side by seeking and securing the financing that enabled him to purchase and develop a single-family spec home on a small lot in Stamford, CT. He worked closely alongside his subcontractors to build a residence that sold quickly and for a profit, giving him valuable insights into the day-to-day operations and quality workmanship that are required for market-worthy residential construction. He later expanded into commercial construction retrofitting and renovating interior office spaces, local hotels, banks, corporate headquarters, apartment buildings and more. Completing the projects on time and within budget were two primary attributes that continued to set Randy and his firm apart from the others as a premier construction company in Fairfield County. Randy’s “customer-first” business philosophy and steadfast commitment to serving his community readied him for the projects which currently drive the firm today.
